Artist Agreement.
Marketplace terms for artists who sell merch on GetValerio.

Overview
This Artist Marketplace Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("Artist") and GetValerio ("Platform," "we," "us") and governs your sale of merchandise through https://www.getvalerio.com. By checking the agreement box during onboarding, listing products, or making a sale, you accept this Agreement in addition to our Terms of Service and Shop Policy.
Fees & when you get paid
- Stripe card processing: 2.9% + $0.30 per successful card charge for standard U.S. online card payments. Processing is allocated between your merchandise and shipping portions of the charge (sales tax is excluded from your payout). International cards, digital wallets, or other payment methods may be priced differently per Stripe's schedule.
- 2% GetValerio marketplace fee on the merchandise subtotal only (not on shipping or sales tax).
- Shipping charged at checkout is passed through to you in your payout so you can purchase postage and fulfill orders. You are responsible for shipping cost, packaging, and delivery.
- Sales tax collected at checkout is retained by GetValerio as the platform merchant of record for tax on marketplace orders. You remain responsible for income taxes on your earnings.
- After an order ships or is delivered, we hold your share for 14 calendar days to cover returns and disputes (our return window is 14 days — see Shop Policy).
- When the hold ends, funds are released to your connected Stripe Express payout account. Bank deposits follow Stripe's schedule (typically 2 U.S. business days for Express accounts, subject to Stripe and your bank).
GetValerio may update the platform fee with reasonable notice; continued sales after notice constitute acceptance.
Payouts & settlement
How checkout works: Customers pay GetValerio at checkout. We use Stripe Connect to route your share to a payout account you connect during onboarding.
Refunds & chargebacks: If a customer receives a refund or wins a chargeback, the refunded amount (including applicable fees) may be deducted from pending or future payouts. You are responsible for chargebacks resulting from your listings, fulfillment, or customer service.
Minimum payout: We may withhold release if an amount is below Stripe's minimum transfer threshold until additional sales accrue.
Your responsibilities
- Create and maintain your product listings — titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, and inventory — and keep them accurate.
- Fulfill orders you receive, including packaging and shipping. Shipping fees collected from customers are paid out to you for postage; you choose carriers and service levels unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Provide accurate fulfillment timelines and communicate delays to customers when needed.
- Own or have rights to all designs, logos, and content you list. You indemnify GetValerio against claims arising from your listings.
- Complete Stripe Connect onboarding and keep payout details current. You must finish verification before products can go live for sale.
- Comply with applicable laws (consumer protection, export, etc.). Sales tax on checkout is handled by the Platform as described above; you are responsible for income and other taxes on amounts you earn.
- Do not list prohibited items (counterfeit goods, illegal content, items that violate third-party rights, etc.).
Platform role
GetValerio provides hosting, checkout, and marketplace tools. We may remove listings, pause payouts, or suspend stores that violate this Agreement, our Terms, or applicable law. We are not the seller of record for your merch unless explicitly stated for a specific product line.
Stripe Connect
Payouts require a Stripe Connect Express account. Stripe's services are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. GetValerio does not store your full bank account details.
Changes
We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued sales after changes constitutes acceptance.
